Get ready for a new makeover for my Talnarin Novel Series! All new covers coming your way sooner than you realize. And to top it off, Creature of the Light is in the works, the sequel to Creature of the Dark! As for the long wait and my radio silence on social media, I’ve had to help support my family as my mom went in and out of the hospital for two weeks. Its been a stressful few weeks and I couldn’t be happier that she’s finally home, though she could end up back if we aren’t careful. Anywho’s, things always seem to pop up and slow me from my writing, but its life. What can you do (shrug)? Enjoy it as best as you can and hope that tomorrow is a better day.
And so my friends, I bid you farewell until next time!
Yay! Ivy Chapman, my not so secret, secret pen name released a new omegaverse, reverse harem novel on the great Amazon!
For those who don’t know what an omegaverse is, well its a story involving omegas and alphas. Similar to wolf hierarchy, alphas rule the roast and omegas are the weakest ones. In an omegaverse story, typically you see an omega male or female go into heat and an alpha (or alphas) make a claim when they mate. Its a genre more centered on the animalistic nature of people with a small twist in genetics. There’s heats, bonding’s, claims, and the like.
Personally, I know Ivy Chapman LOVES the genre and Addison Cain is an amazing author who writes plenty of omegaverse stories if you are wanting more!
Anyway, without further adieu, here is her 😉new release!
If you like what you read, please help Ivy out by leaving a review 🙂
I cannot apologize enough for the long wait. As an avid reader myself, waiting on the next book in a series is torture. I’ve likely lost a handful of readings as a result, which I am sorry for.
Having said that, I wouldn’t abandon my work without a good reason. My father passed in December suddenly. Now you might be thinking, ‘well why the hell has it taken you so long to get with it? It’s nearly a year and no new book?!’
My dad was my biggest fan. My most loyal reader and supporter.
Picking up book three has been painful to say the least. For those who aren’t aware, Alanna represents me. Alanna’s family represents my own family. Having to write them in and kill them off was difficult when they were all alive in the real world. Now that my dad is gone and I’m having to express the emotions Alanna’s feeling when she thinks of her family has been brutal.
So I’m pushing through the pain and challenges. I’m reworking the first two books with new editing as well. I am promoting a lot more now and chipping away at my manuscript. It’s safe to say, I’m roughly half way through it. I’m just picking through this half and fine tuning it before moving on to the second half. I might even send the first half to the editor while I finish up the second half so I have some teasers for you all.
Again, I’m so sorry for my sudden disappearance and unpublished book three. I’m getting it done as soon as can in between work and caring for my family.
I want to apologize for the delay on book three and the lack of communication. Due to various things, I am currently working two additional jobs aside from writing. It has thus been a challenge to adjust my schedule and plan time for the book.
To put it simply, I am exhausted.
Good news is, I’m nearing the last few chapters! After that, it goes to the beta readers before I send it off to be edited. I promise I will get it to you when I can, I don’t want to rush it and give you a poorly written book.
More good news: I bring you Broken Pieces: A Talnarin Novel Series Book Three!
Hopefully you’ve already heard about the giveaway I’m hosting on this website. (You can find it under the giveaway tab).
Over 70 authors/books to choose from
In other news, I officially sent out my ARCs today! Beyond excited but almost nervous, I sincerely hope the readers enjoy Fractured Past!
I must say trying to figure out how to convert the document to MOBI and EPUP was a challenge. (Took me nearly all day) Not to mention tying to get BookFunnel to format the files properly. For whatever reason (most likely due to all electronics despising me), the original files were formatted perfectly but when I added them to BookFunnel, the chapters got all wonky. Either way, it is what it is. Some chapters simply don’t start on a new page.
I can assure you that when/if you buy Fractured Past from Amazon, all will look as it should! So no worries there everyone!
Having said that, I hope you all had a fabulous Saturday!
